Mary VanHoomissen Joins Design Clinicals, Inc. As Vice President of Implementation

Seattle, WA - February 8, 2008

Design Clinicals, Inc., a provider of advanced medication reconciliation and patient safety systems, announced today that Mary VanHoomissen, MBA, BSN, RN has joined the company as Vice President of Implementation.

In her new position, Ms. VanHoomissen is responsible for implementation of Design Clinicals' products and for ongoing communication with clients. She is also in charge of developing and managing project plans, producing education materials and designing user manuals.

Prior to joining Design Clinicals, Ms. VanHoomissen was a Clinical Project Manager in the Information Services Department at Valley Medical Center in Renton, WA, where she was responsible for leading the organization's migration from paper to electronic documentation, including the implementation of Design Clinicals' MedsTracker application in 2007. VanHoomissen also served as Director of Resource Management at Valley Medical, where she led the adoption of the organization's productivity software for performance improvement, the nursing float pool and operations of the nurse staffing office.
